Author Guidelines

Artikel atau paper yang akan diserahkan harus mengikuti batasan-batasan berikut:
 
  1. Naskah berbahasa Indonesia atau berbahasa inggris.
  2. Naskah belum pernah dimuat/diterbitkan pada media lain.
  3. Naskah yang dimuat dalam jurnal ini meliputi tulisan tentang: kebijakan, penelitian, pemikiran, review konsep/teori, resensi buku baru dan informasi lain yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan bidang teknologi informasi.
  4. Naskah harus diserahkan secara online melalui situs web jurnal. Penulis harus log in untuk menyerahkan naskah.  Untuk panduan penyerahan naskah lihat di menu online submission. Pendaftaran online tidak dipungut biaya.
  5. Panjang naskah antara 6 sampai 10 halaman A4 (210 x 297 mm) dengan format naskah sesuai template yang disediakan, termasuk di dalamnya gambar, tabel, tidak mengandung apendiks. Naskah ditulis menggunakan Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) dengan batas atas 3 cm, kiri 3 cm, kanan 2 cm dan bawah 1.5 cm.
  6. Judul ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia, Kata Kunci dan Abstract, harus dituliskan dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris.
  7. Jumlah kata pada judul maksimal 14 kata dengan ketentuan: Tipe huruf Times New Roman (TNS) dan ukuran huruf 15, spasi tunggal, rata tengah, cetak tebal (Bold) dan spacing after 12 pt. Apabila judul terlalu panjang, editor berhak mengedit judul tanpa mengubah makna judul, tanpa persetujuan penulis naskah, ketika naskah akan naik cetak.
  8. Penulisan judul artikel disarankan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia yang sesuai dengan Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD). Apabila terdapat kata-kata dalam Bahasa Inggris, ditulis dengan format miring (Italic).
  9. Nama penulis menggunakan Times New Roman 10. Jika ada lebih dari satu penulis dipisahkan dengan tanda koma dan ditulis angka1 jika penulis dari afiliasi pertama, angka2 jika penulis dari afiliasi kedua, dst.
  10. Sertakan asal institusi, alamat, kode pos serta email penulis dan ditulis dengan menggunakan TNR 9.
  11. Artikel dimulai dengan Abstract. Abstract dan Intisari tidak boleh mengandung gambar maupun tabel, rata kanan-kiri, huruf Times New Roman 9, spasi tunggal. Abstract ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia.  Abstract tidak boleh lebih dari 250 kata. Abstract harus menggambarkan esensi isi artikel keseluruhan.
  12. Kata Kunci mengandung empat hingga delapan kata, dipisahkan dengan koma, rata kanan-kiri, huruf TNR 9, dan spasi tunggal. Kata kunci dipilih secara cermat, sehingga mampu mencerminkan konsep yang dikandung artikel dan membantu peningkatan keteraksesan artikel yang bersangkutan.
  13. Tubuh naskah harus mengikuti kaidah berikut:
  14. Ditulis dalam dalam format satu kolom rata kanan-kiri, TNR 10, spasi 1. Batas margin ditetapkan sebagai berikut: atas = 3 cm ; bawah = 1.75 cm; kiri = 3 cm ; kanan = 2 cm.
  15. Sistematika penulisan artikel harus mengandung empat bagian utama: (1) Pendahuluan, (2) Teoritis/Metodologi Penelitian, (3) Analisa dan Pembahasan, (4) Implementasi, dan (5) Kesimpulan. Ucapan Terima Kasih boleh ditampilkan setelah Kesimpulan. Ucapan Terima Kasih boleh ditampilkan setelah Kesimpulan. Referensi diletakkan pada bagian paling belakang. Judul bab yang harus ada adalah Pendahuluan dan Kesimpulan. Heading maksimum dibuat dalam 3 tingkat:
  16. Heading 1: Heading tingkat 1 harus dalam small caps, terletak di pinggir kiri dan menggunakan penomoran angka Romawi huruf besar. Heading tingkat 1 yang tidak boleh menggunakan penomoran adalah "Ucapan Terima Kasih" dan "Referensi". Sebagai contoh, “I. PENDAHULUAN”.
  17. Heading 2: Heading tingkat 2, merapat ke kiri dan dinomori menggunakan abjad huruf besar. Sebagai contoh, "C. Bagian Heading".
  18. Heading 3: Heading tingkat 3 harus diberi spasi, miring, dan dinomori dengan angka Arab diikuti dengan tanda kurung kanan. Heading tingkat 3 harus diakhiri dengan titik dua. Isi dari bagian tingkat 3 bersambung mengikuti judul heading dengan paragraf yang sama. Sebagai contoh, bagian ini diawali dengan heading tingkat 3.
  19. Gambar dan tabel harus terletak di tengah (centered). Gambar dan tabel yang besar dapat direntangkan pada kedua kolom. Setiap tabel atau gambar yang mencakup lebar lebih dari 1 kolom harus diposisikan di bagian atas/bawah halaman. Gambar diperbolehkan berwarna. Gambar diberi nomor dengan menggunakan angka. Keterangan gambar dalam huruf TNR 10. Keterangan gambar dalam satu baris diletakkan di tengah (centered), sedangkan multi-baris rata kanan-kiri. Keterangan gambar ditempatkan setelah gambar terkait.
  20. Persaman matematika harus ditulis secara jelas, dinomori secara berurutan, dan dilengkapi dengna informasi yang dibutuhkan.
  21. Nomor halaman, header dan footer tidak dipakai. Semua hypertext link dan bagian bookmark akan dihapus. Jika paper perlu merujuk ke alamat email atau URL di artikel, alamat atau URL lengkap harus diketik dengan font biasa.
  22. Kutipan dan Referensi ditulis mengikuti standar IEEE (lihat template di situs web MIB)
  23. Kutipan dinomori dalam format [1], [2], [3], ... sesuai urutan muncul.
  24. Wikipedia, blog pribadi, dan situs web non ilmiah tidak diperbolehkan.
  25. Referensi utama harus diambil paling lama 5 tahun dan minimal 10 referensi.

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A.  General Author Guidelines

  1. The Manuscript should be written in Indonesian or English and have never been published or is not in the process of submission for publication to other media and does not contain elements of plagiarism.
  2. The Manuscript may take the form of research, case studies, or literary studies.
  3. The author should register as an Author. The guides to register and submit the paper is at the bottom.
  4. The Manuscript will be published in Jurnal Teknoinfo after being reviewed by peer reviewers.
  5. The length of submitted paper is at least 6 pages and no more than 12 pages.
  6. The Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines and Template. The writing template can be downloaded here.

B.  Structure of the manuscripts

  1. Title. The title should be short, clear, and informative, but does not exceed 14 words. It has to be pinpoint with the issues that will be discussed. The article title does not contain any uncommon abbreviation. The main ideas should be written first and followed then by its explanations.
  2. Author’s names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions, institutions address, and email addresses, without any academic titles and/or job title.
  3. Abstract. Abstracts are written in Indonesian. Abstract is made in one paragraph which consists of the background, objective, research methods, results, conclusions and keywords (3-5 phrases) and no more than 200 word.
  4. Introduction. The introduction must contain (shortly and consecutively) a general background and a literature review (state of the art), main research problems and research method. In the final part of the introduction, the purpose of the article writing should be stated.
  5. Result and Discussion. This part consists of the research results and how they are discussed. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data.  The research results and the discovery must be the answers, or the research hypothesis stated previously in the introduction part. The following components should be covered in discussion: How do your results relate to the original question or objectives outlined in the Introduction section (what/how)? Do you provide interpretation scientifically for each of your results or findings presented (why)? Are your results consistent with what other investigators have reported (what else)? Or are there any differences?
  6. Conclusions. Conclusions should answer the objectives of the research and the research discoveries. The conclusions should not contain only the repetition of the results and discussions or abstract. You should also suggest future research and/or point out those that are underway.
  7. References. The literature listed in the References contains only the sources referenced or included in the article. Please use Reference Manager Applications like EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Referral sources should contain 80% of journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the last five years. Writing techniques bibliography, using the system cites IEEE Style.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
